Awesome hats! And a great idea for bad hair days! So, is this a good project for someone that hasn't done any crocheting . . . ever? Or should I just break down and buy one?
A while ago I saw a picture of a pumpkin beanie that I LOVED. I taught myself how to make it and I became addicted. Thanks to the many creative people out there and their blogs, I have lists of projects I want to make. Every evening I am so tired that all I want to do is become a couch potato....but heaven forbid if I sit there accomplishing nothing. So herein lies the solution....I crochet!
Why do I have a blog for these?
I have had so many requests for cute beanies that I can't keep up with it in my head. My husband is also starting to question my "yarn allowance" as well. With a blog, I can refer people to it and they can later contact me if they have any interest in buying one. This way my yarn addiction will have funding and my husband won't be bitter:) I like this better then an etsy shop because I won't feel any pressure to update it or re-post listings.
What you do if you want something made?
If you see something you like on my blog or something you've seen elsewhere, go ahead and contact me. We can work out a price.
